Charity wristbands are one of the most popular ways to raise money. Usually, the yellow color is representative for creating awareness of cancer. This cause was mainly applied by Lance Armstrong when he released the yellow wristbands right after beating cancer. This way, he wanted to support people affected by cancer with his foundation. His foundation focuses on developing cancer research, advocacy, and data collection. The yellow wristband “Livestrong” was the first to promote organizations and foundations, and it encouraged the utilization of these sorts of bracelets to support similar causes. Other yellow wristbands are made to support the US troops, blue to support anti-bullying, anti-Bush reelection, tsunami aid and prostate cancer. Pink wristbands are meant to support breast cancer, red wristbands for hearth disease, anti-tobacco and HIV support. Violet bracelets for cystic fibrosis, lupus, domestic violence; Grey wristbands to support patients of diabetes and brain cancer, the black & white wristband to stop racism in football, green ones for ecology, leukemia, and donation of organs, golden bracelets for childhood cancer.
